visual art and philosophy
Twenty artists who have previously exhibited work at De Ketelfactory in Schiedam have been invited to create new work at the enormous Noletloodsen for Snapshot of a larger order. Throughout this art manifestation, visual art and philosophy enhance one another. De Ketelfactory invites the artists to continue their search and find different ways of achieving a deepening of their work. Furthermore, connections are formed between the individual universes of the artists, as well as between artists, philosophers, scientists and writers.

the noletloodsen
The Noletloodsen form the backdrop for this exhibition. A former wood storage space with a 6.000 m2 floor surface, situated in an area where Schiedam’s 18th century town centre captivatingly merges with the harbour town’s industrial character.
